There was a Japanese CD of this which took me long to get. The Latin Jazz Quintet was one of the best bands in the wake of Cal Tjader's bands.
I wonder what became of Bobby Capers - such a fine player!
BTW - the album credits are not correct: Victor Allende plays the bongos on this record. The flute is played by Bobby Capers. He doubled on sax and flute during his tenure with Mongo Santamaria's band just as well - IIRC the original liner notes also point in that direction. I wonder how and why they got that wrong ...
